03.14.20…..Happy Saturday, my stampin’ friends! It’s a cold, rainy day where I live, andit’s an absolutely perfect day for crafting! So…I decided to create a super girly card…with a touch of Spring! That being said, the Dressed to Impress Bundle was just perfect for what I had in mind, and it also gave me an opportunity to pull out my Stampin’ Blends Markers. If you haven’t ordered any products from the Best Dressed Suite yet, you’ll want to add them to your wish list right away! And, don’t forget…

For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and used a Stamping Sponge, along with my Petal Pink Classic Stampin’ Pad, to add a subtle bit of color. After I embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I added some speckling as well. (I “flicked” the thick end of my Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend Marker against the marker cap to create the speckling.) After I layered a slightly larger piece of Petal Pink Cardstock underneath, I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. I then used one of the Layering Squares Dies to cut out a Vellum Cardstock scalloped square. Layered on top of that is a bit of Whisper White Cardstock, cut out with one of the Ornate Frames Dies.
For a bit of texture, I added some Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon. (To create the ruffles, I added a narrow strip of Tear and Tape Adhesive. As I created little folds in the ribbon, I adhered it to the tape.) Next, I cut out a square with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies, and embossed it with the Lace 3D Embossing Folder. I then layered a Whisper White scalloped square underneath (cut out with one of the Layering Squares Dies), and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Dressed to Impress Bundle) was heat-embossed using my Versamark Pad and Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then cut out and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the shoes (also from the Dressed to Impress Bundle) with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad (“stamped off” once) on Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and cut them out with the coordinating All Dressed Up Dies. I used my Dark/Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Dark/Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the shoes, and popped them up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. To decorate the shoes, I used a couple of Frosted Flower Embellishments and several of the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels. For just a bit more bling, I spinkled on a few of the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
Wishing you creativity always,
