#sharesunshine blog hop – just breathe…

05.17.20…..Happy Sunday, everyone!  Today, I have an extra special blog hop for you!  Several members of the Stampin’ Up! 2020 Artisan Design Team decided to “get together…alone” for an unofficial blog hop, and…create some #sharesunshine cards using the Share Sunshine PDF Download.  And…if you’re already hopping along with us today, you probably just came from Stesha’s blog.  Isn’t her card amazing!?!

The Share Sunshine PDF Download is a COVID-10 Product Giveback created by Stampin’ Up!, as part of their Making a Difference program.  It is a great opportunity to  support organizations that are helping COVID-19 frontline responders and communities vulnerable to the pandemic.

The Share Sunshine PDF Download is a digital stamp set that’s packed with both lighthearted and heartfelt sentiments and imagery relevant to the unique COVID-19 and social distancing situation we’re currently experiencing, and it includes including many ideas that came from customers and demonstrators alike!

You can use the download in your cardmaking and papercrafting projects. Simply print the imagery on cardstock and cut it out using our Paper Trimmer, punches, or dies. Since we are physically distanced from each other, now is a perfect time to share sunshine with our friends and family by sending cards!

How cool is that!!!

For this special #sharesunshine card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Bermuda Bay Cardstock base. I then used a Stamping Sponge, along with my Coastal Cabana Classic Stampin’ Pad, to add a subtle wash of color to a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.

Next, I used large flower stamp (from the Parcels and Petals Bundle), along with my Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin’ Pad, to stamp several flowers.  I also used the wide border stamp from the Parcels and Petals Bundle, along with my Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin’ Pad, and stamped it randomly on top of the flowers.  (Both the flowers and the border stamp were “stamped off” once each time I stamped.)  Once I was done stamping, I embossed the paper with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to the card base.

To just a bit more detail, I used the filigree die (from the Parcels & Petals Bundle), along small piece of Old Olive Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock, For some extra texture, I added a bit of Whisper White Baker’s Twine and Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon.  (To adhere the Mini Striped Ribbon, I added a piece of Tear & Tape Adhesive, and “looped” the ribbon back and forth.)

The sentiment is one of the many wonderful sentiments from the Share Sunshine PDF Download.  I printed it out on Whisper White Cardstock, cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Iridescent Sequins and a couple of Pearl Basic Jewels.
