02.26.21…..Happy Friday , everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! We love bringing you weekly paper-crafting inspiration, and are so excited to have you join us in using this week’schallenge…Sweet Inspiration! It should be a great one to spark wonderful creativity! For this card, I started some Basic White Cardstock, embossed it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder, and added it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock Base. I then used a square of Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper, layered some Basic White and Basic Black Cardstock underneath, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the panel to the card base.
The chicken (from the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set) was stamped on Basic White Thick Cardstock with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad, and colored with the several of the Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs…Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, and Daffodil Delight. Before I popped up the chicken with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I cut it out with the coordinating die from the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle. I also used the Brights 6” x 6” DSP (along with one of the dies from the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle) to create the colorful streamers.
The sentiment (also from the Hey Birthday Chick Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. To add to the party theme, I sprinkled on several of the Ice Cream Corner Sprinkles.
