05.30.21…..Happy Sunday, everyone! I’m obsessed with so many of the new Designer Series Paper collections in the new Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, and one of my favorites is the Hand-Penned DSP! So…I decided to use little snippets of it to create the little flags for the banner on this card. I hope this card inspires you to use some of the gorgeous, new DSP on your projects, too!
For this card, I started with some Basic White Cardstock, and adhered it to a Crumb Cake Cardstock base. I then used some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, layered more Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, and popped up the entire panel with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To cut out each of the flags from the Hand-Penned DSP, I used one of the little dies (…which is notched at each end) from the Tasteful Labels Dies. I folded each label in half to create the flag, then added the Linen Thread through the middle of each flag. I also popped up each flag with a Stampin’ Dimensional. (Note: The one blue polka flag was cut out from the You’re a Peach DSP.)
The sentiment (from the Garden Wishes Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a bit of bling, I added two Elegant Faceted Gems and a Basic Pearl Jewel.
Wishing you creativity always,
