To create the base for each of the card, I used the Let’s Go Fishing Designer Series Paper, and adhered it to a Misty Moonlight Cardstock base. To create the background for the fish, I used a Blending Brush to add Balmy Blue to some Basic White Thick Cardstock, then embossed it with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder. For the speckling, I used a Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker. Layered underneath this embossed cardstock is another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, along with some additional Let’s Go Fishing DSP.
The fish were fussy cut from another piece of Let’s Go Fishing DSP, and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment (from the Gone Fishing Bundle was heat embossed on Pebbled Path Cardstock, using a Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For just a bit of extra texture, I added some Linen Thread underneath the sentiment. I also sprinkled on 2023-2025 In Color Dots.

For my second card, I embossed some Crumb Cake Cardstock with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Crumb Cake Cardstock base. For the next layer, I added some Let’s Go Fishing DSP to a piece of Pebbled Path Cardstock, and popped up the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next, I used a Blending Brush to add Misty Moonlight ink to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter to splatter some water droplets. I used one of the dies from the Gone Fishing Bundle to die cut the water rings on the cardstock, the fussy cut three more fish from the Let’s Go Fishing DSP and popped them inside the slits create the the die. I used the Deckled Rectangle Dies to die cut some Distressed Gold Specialty Paper and another piece of Let’s Go Fishing DSP, then cut off the edges to add some extra layering underneath the “fish” panel. I also used another die from the Gone Fishing Bundle, along with Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, to cut out the little fishing hooks.
The sentiment (from the Gone Fishing Bundle was heat embossed on Pebbled Path Cardstock, using a Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with one of the Nested Essentials Dies, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For just a bit of extra texture, I added some Linen Thread and 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim. I also sprinkled on 2023-2025 In Color Dots.
