05.15.2023…..Happy Monday, everyone! The new Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog is jammed packed with sooooo many wonderful products, and…..one of my favorites is the new Paper Florist Dies! I combined them with some watercolored paper to create all of the flowers and leaves for this card. I hope this card inspires you to create some wonderful projects of your own, using some of the amazing new products from this catalog!
For this card, I started with some Pebbled Path Cardstock, and embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder. To give the embossed cardstock a shabby chic look, I also used a Sponge Dauber to add some White Craft Ink to the cardstock. I then adhered it to a Pebbled Path Cardstock base.
To create the flowers and leaves, I used a Water Painter to add Moody Mauve, Boho Blue, and Mossy Meadow to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used several of the dies to cut out all of the shapes, and used Mini Glue Dots to layer them together. The tiny centers of each of the flowers were die cut from Basic White Thick Cardstock.
The sentiment (from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then cut it out with one of the Nested Essentials Dies. Tucked underneath the sentiment is a Linen Thread bow. For a bit of bling, is sprinkled on Tinsel Gems Three-Pack and 2023-2025 In Color Dots.
