03.24.2023…..Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today, I wanted to share my newest Technique Tuesday [post, as a member of the Stampin’ Up! 2023 Artisan Design Team. For my post, I decided to share how you can create your own colorful, unique paper for die cutting shapes, using strips of your favorite Designer Series Paper. For these projects, I used the colorful, trendy Delightfully Eclectic DSP.
Hope this quick and easy technique inspires you to use up those extra scraps of DSP that you have on hand, and create a colorful, unique project of your own!
You can also view this on the Stampin’ Up! Corporate Facebook Page or the Stampin’ Up Instagram account:

Step 1: Cut several strips of Designer Series Paper (approximately ¼” to ½” width), using a variety of patterns and colors. You may also want to use strips that you already have on hand. Use your favorite adhesive to adhere the strips to Basic White Cardstock.

Step 2: Cut out various shapes from the paper, using your favorite dies. Use the die cut shapes to add a bright pop of color to your cards and projects.

For these cards I also used the following Stampin’ Up! products:
Fresh Freesia Cardstock
Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder
Alphabet A La Mode Dies
Artistic Dies
Give It A Whirl Dies
Stitched Shapes Dies
Nested Essential Dies
Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon
Linen Thread
Pastel Adhesive-Backed Gems
2023-2025 In Color Dots
Now it’s time to get out those DSP scraps, and start creating! Hope you have as much fun with this technique as I did!
Wishing you creativity always,
