06.12.2023…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! There are so many wonderful new colors that are available with the recent Stampin’ Up! Color Refresh, but one of my faves is Lemon Lolly. It just such a soft buttery yellow…almost like lemon frosting! I used it for my card base, along with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. Hope this card inspires you to create a cheery, colorful card, using one of your favorite new colors, too!
For this card, I started with Lemon Lolly Cardstock, embossed it with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Lemon Lolly Cardstock base. Next, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossed Folder, layered a piece of Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper on top, and popped up the entire panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For the little flowers and stems, I used some of the dies from the Timeless Arrangements Bundle, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock and Petal Pink Cardstock. The sentiment (from the Timeless Arrangements Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then cut out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.
For an extra bit of texture, I created a bow with the Petal Pink Ribbon (from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack) and cut it in half lengthwise. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pastel Gems and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
