12.20.2023…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! I absolutely love the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper! So…..today I decided to use up a few of the remaining scraps that I still had. Even though I love to create holiday cards with unexpected color combos, the traditional reds and greens in this DSP are so festive! Hope this card inspires you to use up the last of your holiday DSP, too!

For this card, I add some Joy of Christmas DSP to a 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Then, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, layer some Garden Green Cardstock underneath, and popped up the entire panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the next layer, I added three strips of the Joy of Christmas DSP to the card base, and popped them up with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Merriest Trees Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. On the back of the sentiment, I add some Tear & Tape Adhesive, and “looped” Real Red ribbon (from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack) back and forth along the adhesive strip. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs and Festive Pearls.
