01.19.2024…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s been a super busy start to the New Year for me, and this afternoon I was super excited to finally have a chance to just play with a few new products!
I’m sharing a birthday card that I created in three different colors, using the Nature’s Sweetness Suite. This is such a beautiful suite of products with a gorgeous neutral palette, and it was really fun to create these cards in some unexpected colors…..Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, and Pool Party. Hope these cards inspire you to create some fun, colorful projects with this super versatile suite!
For each of the cards, I heat-embossed one of the images (from the Lovely & Sweet Stamp Set) a couple of times, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
To add just a subtle depth of color, I colored in each of the embossed images with the coordinating Stampin’ Blends Marker for each of the cards…..Light Bubble Bath, Light Lemon Lolly, and Light Pool Party.
After I tore off the bottom right edge, and added some Basic White Thick Cardstock, which I embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiment (from the Notes of Nature Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
To add some extra layers and texture, I used the Lovely & Sweet Dies and the Notes of Nature Dies to die cut some Basic White Thick Cardstock branches and tiny flowers.
To create the bow, I added White Baker’s Twine, and also wrapped the twine around the panel three times. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels, Tinsel Gems Three-Pack, and Tinsel Gems Four-Pack.
