hooray…

04.04.2024…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card I created using the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, which is retiring at the end of April. This DSP is one of my faves, and if you don’t have it, you may want to order it before it’s too late! I also combined it with a few different dies, and a background, created with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, which is also retiring at the end of April. Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project with some of your favorite retiring products, too!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Quatrefoil Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I layered together to of the patterns from the Delightfully Eclectic DSP. For the “notebook” strip of paper, I used one of the Notes of Nature Dies to create a coordinating notebook border.

To create the leaves and flowers, I used a Water Painter to add Soft Sea Foam and Daffodil Delight to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. To cut out the leaves, I used one of the Textured Floral Dies. To cut out the flowers, I used one of the Lovely & Sweet Dies.

The sentiment (from the Good Feelings Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For some extra texture, I added Linen Thread, and some of the Petal Pink ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Petal Pink Foil Gems.

Wishing you creativity always,
