stampin’ fancy friday – case a fancy friend…

05.24.2024…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to share a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a “Case a Fancy Friend” challenge! This means that when you see a card and are so inspired by it…then you copy it (or selective copy) and share what you create! We each chose one of our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team members, and “cased” one of their cards. How much fun is that??? That being said, I decided to choose the amazing Brenda Nelson @stampwithbrenda !

Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created and just who on the team they CASEd! We have 24 projects to share, and each one is AMAZING!!!

Then…..when you CASE one of our SFF teammates, share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post. We will share in our stories to inspire others as well!

Above is the gorgeous card that Brenda Nelson created. I absolutely love it!!!

For my card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.

To create the branches and tiny flowers, I used Blending Brushes to add Bubble Bath, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana, and Azure Afternoon to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets on the cardstock, and dried it with a Heat Tool. The branches are cut out with dies from the Thoughtful Wishes Dies. The tiny flowers are cut out with dies from the Lovely & Sweet Dies.

The sentiment (from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment is (cut in half lengthwise), and adhered to the back of the sentiment with Tear & Tape Adhesive. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Blooming Pearls and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
