05.09.22…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing something a little different. It’s a little watercolored flower, and I decided it would be perfect for this shabby chic frame that I’ve been holding on to for years. The inspiration for the flower came from the amazing Shannon West, who shared her tutorial video on Youtube yesterday…..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmmvaVRSrHs. She watercolored a beautiful, hand-painted flower, which I absolutely adore! So…..I thought I would give it a try.
I was really happy with the flower that I painted, but then….I ran into a bit of a mishap with my Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry ink. So….I added more Daffodil Delight and Crushed Crushed around the flower, along with some splatted water drops. Even with my little mishap, I’m still excited with the way it turn out, and I can’t wait to try another one…maybe in a different color combo. Thank you bunches, Shannon West, for sharing your talent!
