07.08.2024…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I was in the mood for just a bit of watercoloring! The create the little flower, I used a Water Painter, along with Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Lemon Lime Twist. For the outlining and the sentiment, I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. Hope this card inspires you to add of bit of watercoloring to your cards and projects, too!

For this 4″ x 4″ card, I started with Flirty Flamingo Cardstock, and embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I then used a Sponge Dauber, along with White Craft ink to color the cardstock. I also used a Heat Tool to completely dry the White Craft Ink, and then adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
To create the little flower on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, I used a Water Painter, along with Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight, and Lemon Lime Twist. I painted the flower on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, dried it with a Heat Tool. Next, I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to add the outlining and the sentiment. I then cut out the flower with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies, and layered some Basic Black Cardstock underneath.
To add some extra texture, I created a bow with Basic Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Tinsel Gems Four-Pack.
Wishing you creativity always,

A couple of questions…isn’t that the new Eyelet Embossing Folder? Not the Distressed Tile? Also, did you cover the entire piece of Flirty Flamingo with the white craft ink? It’s a bit hard to tell in the photo. And you drew the flower free hand? Very cute!
