#tgifc501 – winter wonderland…

11.29.2024….Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! We are so glad you are joining us this week’s “winter wonderland” Inspiration Challenge! Inspiration challenges are one of my faves, and are always a great way to get that creativity flowing.

You can use this one as a theme challenge, or maybe even a little of just an inspiration challenge. Maybe you are more inspired by the colors, or the style of sentiment, or maybe you want to take the theme “as is”. Whatever inspiration you take from this, we want to see it! Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project, using this week’s challenge!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, and used a Blending Brush to add swirls of Balmy Blue. I then cut out the cardstock with one of the Deckled Rectangle Dies, and embossed it with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. I layered another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.

To create trees, I used Blending Brushes to add Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, and Coastal Cabana to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and cut out the trees with one of the Decorative Trees Dies. For the added layers on top of the trees, I used a variety of Decorative Trees Dies, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock and Adhesive Sheets.

The sentiment (from the Sentimental Park Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using Silver Embossing Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels and Iridescent Adhesive-Backed Discs.

Wishing you creativity always

  1. Tammy this card is gorgeous. I love the cool colours used rather than traditional. So very soft but so, so very pretty. Thank you for sharing. So enjoyed.
