#tgifc537 – sketch challenge…

08.08.2025…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! We are so glad you are joining us for another inspiring week of creativity and fun! This week’s sketch challenge is all about versatility with a clean, simple design that opens the door to endless possibilities.

The sketch features a left-aligned square layer (a great spot to showcase your favorite Designer Series Paper!), a bold hexagon that can easily be swapped for a similar shape—think a frame, stamped image, a die-cut, or even a layered embellishment—and a banner that’s just waiting for the perfect sentiment. Use the layout as your starting point and let your creativity run wild! Link your project below and be sure to share your project on social media, tag us so we can cheer you on, and invite your crafty friends to play along too. We can’t wait to see what you create!

For my card, I used the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set, Gallery Blooms Dies, Beautiful Motifs Dies, Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder, Beautiful Gallery DSP, and Country Woods DSP. Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project, using this week’s challenge! We can wait to see what you create!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I embossed some Beautiful Gallery DSP with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to the card base.

To create the frame, I used the frame from the Gallery Blooms Dies, along with the Country Woods DSP. The image inside the frame was cut out from the Beautiful Gallery DSP. For two smaller floral stems, I used the Gallery Blooms Dies, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. For the large stem, I used the Beautiful Motifs Dies, along with a Gold Foil Sheet (distressed with a nail buffing block).

The sentiment (from the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Gray Granite Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. For a bit of texture, I added a bow using Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). To add some rustic bling, I sprinkled on the Pressed Flower Motifs.

Wishing you creativity always,
