08.12.2025…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created with the Notes & Totes Dies and Perfectly Pears Dies, along with three different Designer Series Paper collections…..Country Woods, Country Lace, and Woven Textures. Hope this card inspires to create a card or projects, using a variety of your favorite DSP collections as well!
For this card, I started with some Country Woods DSP, and adhered it to a Petal Pink Cardstock base. I then used another piece of Country Woods DSP, layered some Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath (to make it sturdier), and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base. To create the tote, I used the Notes & Totes Dies to cut out the pieces from the Country Lace DSP and Woven Textures DSP.
To create the leaves, I used a Water Painter to add a mix of Lost Lagoon and Gray Granite ink to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then used another Water Painter, along with White Craft Ink, to add some splatters. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used a Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker to add some speckling. I then cut out the leaves with one of the Perfectly Pears Dies.
To create the flowers and sunglass frames, I used a Blending Brushes to lightly add Coastal Cabana to Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then cut out the sunglass frames with one of the Notes & Totes Dies, and the flowers with one of the Perfectly Pears Dies. For the “glass” on the the sunglasses, I used a Gold Foil Sheet that I distressed with a nail buffing block.
The sentiment (from the Heirloom Arrangements Kit) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. For some rustic texture, I added a bow using Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
