09.19.2025…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! We are so glad you are joining us for another inspiring week of creativity and fun! This week’s inspiration challenge is as sweet as can be—literally! Picture a bright blue sky with soft, fluffy clouds, and from above comes a shower of donuts, tumbling down into the most tempting, colorful pile. Talk about dreamy! Whether you’re inspired by the playful colors, the soft textures of the clouds, or the irresistible theme of donuts themselves, there are so many fun directions this challenge can take. Think sprinkles, circles, pastel skies, or maybe even a whole celebration scene…..the sky’s the limit! We can’t wait to see how you let this whimsical photo spark your creativity, and we love that you continue to share your amazing projects with us.
I decided to create a shaker card, and used the Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, and Flirty Flamingo in the background. I also heat-embossed one of the images from the Elements of Text Stamp Set on top of the inked background. Hope this card inspires you to create a card or project, using this week’s challenge! For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, and used Small Blending Brushes to Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, and Flirty Flamingo. After I used a Heat Tool to completely dry the ink, I heat-embossed one of the images from the Elements of Text Stamp Set, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. I used one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut out the “window” from Basic White Thick Cardstock, and embossed it with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder. To create the frame around the window, I combined two dies from the Spotlight on Nature Dies, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. To create the branches, I used the Charming Day Dies, along with the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment (from the Charming Day Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. Underneath the sentiment, I added a bow that I created with Balmy Blue 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon. Inside of the window, I sprinkled Loose Shaker Elements.
