09.25.2025…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a “guy” card that I created with the Scenic Adventures Dies. Before I die cut the pieces, I used Blending Brushes to add ink to Basic White Cardstock, then splattered water droplets with a Water Painter. Hope this card inspires to create a card or project, using the Scenic Adventures Dies as well!

For this card, I started with two patterns from the Weekend Adventures Designer Series Paper, tore the edges, and adhered it to a Pecan Pie Cardstock base. Next, I used one of the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut out a circle from Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used a Blending Brush to add Balmy Blue to the circle, and used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets.
To create the trees and mountains, I used Blending Brushes to the following ink colors to Basic White Thick Cardstock…..two large trees (Granny Apple Green, Old Olive), small trees (Old Olive, Mossy Meadow), and the mountains (Gray Granite, Pecan Pie, Early Espresso). I then used a Water Painter to splatter water droplets. Before I die cut the pieces, I dried the paper with a Heat Tool.
The sentiment (from a retired stamp set) was heat-embossed on Crumb Cake Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. For a bit of subtle bling, I sprinkled on Streaked Dots.
Wishing you creativity always,
