fright night…

10.03.2025…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a Halloween card using the Fright Night Bundle. I love to create cards and projects with unexpected color combos, and the Country Woods Designer Series Paper was just perfect for that. Hope this card inspires to create a card or project, using an unexpected color combo as well!

For this card, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I layered two patterns of the Country Woods DSP together, and popped up the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I heat-embossed the “Fright Night” label image on another pattern of Country Woods DSP (using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder), and cut it out with the coordinating label die. I then used the larger label die to cut out another label from the Country Woods DSP, and layered it underneath the heat-embossed label. To create the spider webs, I used one of the Fright Night Dies, along with the Country Woods DSP as well.

For some extra texture, I created a bow with White 1/4″ Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and pull out several of the threads. I then pulled apart the extra thread to create the “spider webs”. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments.

Wishing you creativity always,
