stamping sunday – fresh starts & creative beginnings…

01.18.2026…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! Our Stamping Sunday Blog Hop this month is inspired by “fresh starts” and “creative beginnings”. This can be interpreted as new products, beginners crafting, or just beginning the New Year!

With a fresh start and new beginnings come exciting things and we have some talented guests joining us this month from the Creation Station Team. We prepare to unveil a merger with the Creation Station Team, complete with new name, so stick with us and we’ll unveil everything fully next month. This month, enjoy the added inspiration.

For my card, I used the brand new Endless Love Dies, along with several shades of Melon Mambo. For the heat-embossed sentiment, I also used the new Stampin’ Up! “Product of Month”…..the Fabulous Sayings Stamp Set. Hope this inspires you to create a “new” card or project as well!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base.

To create all of the watercolored hearts and arrows, I first used a Water Painter to add Melon Mambo to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I also varied the intensity of the ink as I watercolored the paper. I then used several of the Endless Love Dies to cut out all of the shapes. On a few of the hearts, I used a Dark Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends Marker to add some speckling.

For the gold hearts and arrows, I first sanded a Gold Foil Sheet with a nail buffer block, then cut out the shapes with the Endless Love Dies.

The sentiment (from the Fabulous Sayings Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. To create the bow, I used White With Gold 3/8″ Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pearlized Faceted Circles and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,

You won’t want to miss any of this month’s projects!
