the stamping station – layers of love…

02.15.2026…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! Our Stamping Station Blog Hop this month is inspired by “Layers of Love”. Whether you’re a lover of Layers, or you want to share a project themed around love, interpret the theme as you see fit.

I absolutely love to add lots of layers to my card, so I was super excited about this month’s theme! For my card, I used a Water Painter to add Mossy Meadow and Flirty Flamingo to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, then used the brand new Delicate Whispers Dies to cut out the wreath and flowers. Hope this card inspires you to add a some fun layers to your cards or projects as well!

To create this card, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to add some Basic White Thick Cardstock to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I embossed another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, and tore off the bottom edge. I also added a narrow strip of Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper, with the bottom edge torn off as well. To create the border along the bottom edge, I used my Versamark Pad, along with White Embossing Powder, to heat-emboss the branches (from the Beautifully Celebrated Stamp Set) on some Country Woods DSP.

To create the leaves and flowers, I used a Water Painter to add Mossy Meadow and Flirty Flamingo to Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I also used the Water Painter to splatter some water droplets. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I used the brand new Delicate Whispers Dies.

The sentiment (from the Lovely Arrangements Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. To create the bow, I used White with Gold 3/8″ Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Foil Gems and Pearlized Faceted Circles.

Wishing you creativity always,

You won’t want to miss any of this month’s projects!
