03.11.2026…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created for last month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a “Shades of Purple” challenge! Our team members each created a fancy project using as so many beautiful shades of purple. Needless to say, this challenge is overflowing with lots of creativity and inspiration!
For my card, I used Blending Brushes to add Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape to Basic White Thick Cardstock, splattered some water droplets, then cut out the branches with the Beautiful Motifs Dies.
Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We have a total of 30 amazing projects to share for February, and each using their own unique interpretation of the challenge!
Then…..when you CASE one of our SFF teammates, share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post. We will share in our stories to inspire others as well!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder, and tore off the bottom edge. Underneath that, I added a strip of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Basic White Thick card base.
To create the colorful branches, I used Blending Brushes to add Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grappe to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then used a Water Painter to splatter some water droplets. After I dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool, I cut out the branches with the Beautiful Motifs Dies. I also used the Nature’s Symphony Dies to cut out additional branches from Basic White Thick Cardstock.
The sentiment (from the Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Beige Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder, and cut out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. For a little extra texture, I added a bow using White with Gold 3/8″ Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled Antique Pearls and Pearlized Faceted Circles.
Wishing you creativity always,
