03.20.2026…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week we’re celebrating all things fresh and cheerful with a brand new Inspiration Challenge, inspired by this gorgeous spring scene bursting with colorful blooms and fluttering butterflies. Let the photo guide you however you’d like—pull colors from the vibrant flowers, capture the light and airy feeling, or focus on the sweet “Hello Spring” vibe. Whether you create a bright handmade card, a spring scrapbook page, or even treats or decor, we can’t wait to see how this image sparks your creativity. Use what you have, follow your heart, and make something that feels happy and new—just like spring itself!
For this challenge, and I decided to use the colors in this picture for my inspiration, and then…..give a tropical vibe. I used the Boardwalk Fun Bundle, and then die cut the palm trees from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then used a Water Painter to color the palm trees, along with…..Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath, Timid Tiger, and Granny Apple Green. Hope this card inspires you to add a some bright pops of spring color to your cards or projects as well!

To create this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhered it to a Coastal Cabana Cardstock base. I then embossed another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder, tore off the bottom edge, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base.
For the background, I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana Cardstock, and splattered water droplets with a Water Painter. After I dried the cardstock with a Heat Tool, I heat-embossed the palm trees (from the Boardwalk Fun Stamp set), using my Versamark Pad. I also tore off the bottom edge of the cardstock.
I used the Boardwalk Fun Dies to cut out out the palm trees from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then used a Water Painter to color the palm trees, along with…..Petunia Pop, Bubble Bath, Timid Tiger, and Granny Apple Green. Next, I used a Water Painter, along with White Craft Ink, to splatter the palm trees.
poland used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Bubble Bath Cardstock base. Next, I embossed another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder, tore off the left edge, and added a small strip of Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment (from the Boardwalk Fun Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Embossing Powder. I also created a bow using White & Gold Baker’s Twine. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pearlized Faceted Circles and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
Wishing you creativity always,
