08.09.18….. Happy Thursday, y’all! Boy, this week has sure flown by! I hope you are enjoying the cards that I’ve been posting during “Nature Week“, and are hopefully getting a bit of inspiration as well. The gorgeous colors and beautiful patterns that are found in Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper make it easy to get those creative juices flowing!
For my fourth card in this series, I layered a strip of Nature’s Poem paper on a Crumb Cake card base, and used some Baker’s Twine (from the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit). I used the Striped Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with a square of Whisper White Cardstock, and then layered a small piece of Nature’s Poem paper on top.
The sentiment (from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock (using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and a Versamark Pad) and then popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. For those extra special details, I added some wooden leaves from the Frames Elements assortment, one of the True Gentle Buttons (with a bit of Linen Thread), and a few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
