Since Sale-A-Bration has started, I decided to create my first card of the year with the three of the wonderful new Sale-A-Bration products…..the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack, and the Hello Cupcake stamp set.
To get started, I layered two pieces of the Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper on a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. Layered on top of that are two scalloped circles, die cut (using the Layering Circles Framelits) from Vellum Cardstock. The sentiment (from the SAB Hello Cupcake stamp set) was heat-embossed (using a Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder) on Basic Black Cardstock. I then die cut the sentiment with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits, layered it on Whisper White Cardstock (die cut with one of the Layering Squares Framelits), and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Underneath the sentiment, I tucked in a couple of flowering vines, die cut using one the new Well Written Framelits (from the new 2019 Occasions Catalog) from Sparkle Glimmer Paper. Also added underneath, is some of the SAB Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack and a bit of Whisper White Polka Tulle Ribbon. For my last little detail, I added a few of the new Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins, and accented each of them with a Pearl Basic Jewel.
