After I used the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, I speckled it by using a Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker, and “flicking” the thick end of the marker on the edge of the marker cap. I then layered it with Balmy Blue Cardstock, and then adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. With the SAB Hello Cupcake stamp set, I used Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, and Balmy Blue to stamp the cupcake, then die cut it with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits. And…. I just couldn’t resist adding some sparkle, using the Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue and Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter. (The glitter really added a wonderful sparkle to the card, but it’s hard to see in the photo.)
Tucked underneath the cupcake is Gold Mini Sequin Trim, organdy ribbon, and some Rose Metallic Thread. The sentiment (also from the Hello Cupcake set) was stamped on Basic Black Cardstock, using a Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also tucked in a Whisper White flower, that was heat-embossed with my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (using the Falling Flowers stamp set and May Flowers Framelits.) For some touches of bling, I sprinkled in a couple of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, a couple of Gold Metallic Pearls, and one of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.
