Welcome to Wednesday everyone! It took me a minute to start creating projects with the new Hello Cupcake Sale-A-Bration set. However, once I started using it, I can’t seem to stop! The cupcake itself is super fun, and the sentiments are just the cutest ever!

Ok, my Stampin’ friends…..I going to warn you up front that I went a little crazy with all of the layers on this card. I was just having so much fun mixing textures, colors and patterns…..so, thanks for indulging me!

I used one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits with Whisper White Cardstock, dry embossed it with the Striped Scallops Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and layered it on a Petal Pink Cardstock base. On top of that, I added a strip of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, along with a small square of the same paper (die cut with one of the Layering Squares Framelits.)

With the SAB Hello Cupcake stamp set, I used Petal Pink, Crumb Cake, and Soft Seafoam to stamp the cupcake, die cut it with one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits, and speckled it by using a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, and “flicking” the thick end of the marker on the edge of the marker cap. To make it really the icing sparkle, used the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, along with the Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue. (it’s a little hard to see in the picture, but the glitter really added an amazing sparkle to the icing.) Tucked underneath, I added two little strips of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, as well.

The sentiment (also from the Hello Cupcake set) was stamped on Crumb Cake Cardstock, using a Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After cutting out the sentiment, I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For my fun little details, I tucked in some Silver & Pool Party Baker’s Twine, Linen Thread, and sprinkled in a few Pearl Basic Jewels, a couple of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, and one of the Frosted Flower Embellishments (with a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the middle).
