02.23.19…..I’ve been so busy lately, creating projects with all of the wonderful Sale-A-Bration products! I had to remind myself that the Occasions Catalog is just bursting with some amazing products, too! That being said, I decided to pull out my Needle & Thread Bundle (from the Occasions Catalog) to create this card. Winter is still in full-gear here in Northern California (…..which I’m loving!), but I was really in the mood to create some Spring-themed cards today!
Don’t miss the SALE-A-BRATION!
For every $50 you spend in regular Stampin’ Up! products, you can earn FREE merchandise (minimum value of $15.00)…..from the SALE-A-BRATION catalog! By the way, the Botanical Butterly Designer Series Paper and the Butterfly Elements that I used on this card just two of the items that you can earn!)

For this card, I started out with Whisper White Cardstock, die cut it with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits, and used the Subtle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. For the background, I used Soft Seafoam (stamped off once) along with one of the Gallery Grunge background stamps. (The background is super subtle, so it may be a bit hard to see in this photo). I also added some spattering as well, using the thick end of my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker, and “flicking” it against the cap. I then layered it with Gray Granite Cardstock, and adhered it to a Soft Seafoam Cardstock base, using a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. After layering on a strip of the Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, I added a Vellum Cardstock (die cut with one of the Layering Circle Framelits) and a smaller strip of the SAB Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper as well. For some extra texture, I also used a bit of Organdy Ribbon and Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
Using the Needle & Thread Bundle, I stamped the flowers in Balmy Blue and die cut them with the coordinating framelits, and popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. (I used three of the large flowers, and then layered a small flower on top of each one. The small flowers were “stamped off” once, to create a little bit of contrast.) The sentiment (also from the Needle & Thread set) was stamped with Gray Granite, then cut out and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The small leaves were die cut using Soft Seafoam Cardstock, along with one of the framelits from the Needle & Thread Bundle. Also added in the mix, are one of the Butterfly Elements, one of the Frames Elements, Silver & Petal Pink Baker’s Twine, and Whisper White Baker’s Twine (with a few plies pulled out). For those last little details, I sprinkled in a few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, a couple of Frosted Flower Embellishments, and a one of the Clear Faceted Gems.
The new Sale-A-Bration Catalog, the Stampin’ Up 2019 Occasions Catalog, as well as the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog are all chockful of so many wonderful products! Okay, let’s be honest…..they are absolutely overflowing with some of the most amazing products ever!
