03.03.18….. It’s hard to believe it’s March already! However, there are still a few more weeks to take advantage of the Stampin’ Up Sale-A-Bration! That being said, I decided to create this card for this week’s Global Design Project (#GDP178) using the All Adorned stamp set, which is one of the wonderful products that you can earn for FREE (when you a $50+ order in Stampin’ Up merchandise).
Using Whisper White Cardstock, I stamped the background in Pool Party, using one of the stamps from the SAB All Adorned stamp set. (I “stamped off” each image to create a more subtle design.) I also used Pool Party again, along with my Aqua Painter, to add an extra layer of color. The tiny heart (also from the (SAB All Adorned stamp set) was stamped on the background as well, using a Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The speckling was created by using the thick end of my Gray Granite Stampin’ Write Marker, and flicking it against the marker cap.
After I adhered the background to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base, I distressed the edges. Using the Layering Circle Framelits, I die cut two large scalloped circles from Vellum Cardstock and the SAB Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper. The large heart was die cut (with the Be Mine Stitched Framelits) from Coastal Cabana Cardstock, and layering two of the hearts together (one inside the other). I also tucked in a small strip of Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper, some Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon, a piece of Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon, and a bit of Gold Metallic Thread as well.
The sentiment (from the SAB All Adorned stamp set) was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock (using a Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder), and the popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. For my little bit of bling, I added sprinkled in a few Glitter Enamel Dots and a couple of Gold Metallic Pearls.
