02.05.20…..Happy Wednesday, everyone! I’ve been having soooooo much fun creating projects with the Peaceful Poppies Suite! The stamps, the dies, the accessories, the DSP, the colors…I love it all!!! That being said, I actually had not had a chance to play with the Peaceful Poppies Elements yet…..until today! Using these elements made my projects come to life, quickly and easily! For my card, I started with some Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. After I layered it with a slightly larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock, I added a strip of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper, and used a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere three poppy stems (from the Peaceful Poppies Elements). After I added some Basic Black Twine and Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, I used a several Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.
The sentiment (from the Peaceful Moments stamp set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment, I tucked a tiny strip of Gold Glimmer Paper (die cut with one of the Stitched Be Mine Dies) underneath. I also used another die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies to die cut the Gold Glimmer hearts that I tucked behind the poppies. For an extra bit of bling, I sprinkled on several of the Peaceful Poppies Sequins.
Next up is my little gift tag…
I started with a 2″ strip of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, punched one end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, and embossed it with the Tin Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I then added the Basic Black decorative circle from the Peaceful Poppies Elements. After I added a tiny strip of Peaceful Poppies DSP, I added some poppies from the Peaceful Poppies Elements. Tucked underneath are some Gold Glimmer hearts, die cut with one of the Stitched Be Mine Dies.
