Bloom and Grow - Simply Wonderful - Watermark - by Tammy C. Wilson

03.24.2020…..Happy Tuesday, everyone!  I just love the Bloom & Grow Bundle (Bloom & Grow Stamp Set + Budding Blooms Dies), but I haven’t used it in quite awhile.  My upline (and one of my best friends) Jeanne Kooker, had a card challenge for our group this week, so I decided to use this bundle. This is such a fun stamp for coloring with Stampin’ Blends, and I love that it has a coordinating die set as well!   If you don’t have the Bloom & Grow Bundle, you’ll want to add it to your wish list as soon as possible!  And don’t forget…

For every $50 you spend in regular Stampin’ Up! products, you can earn FREE product (minimum value of $15.00), from the first and/or second SALE-A-BRATION catalog!

For this card, I started with a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock, and stamped the little background image (from the Bloom & Grow Bundle) in Highland Heather as well.  I also used a Stampin’ Sponge to add just a bit more color on top of the images.  After I embossed this with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.  I then layered a small piece of Whisper White Cardstock (embossed with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder), on top of some Basic Black Cardstock.  Before I adhered it with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added a bit of Linen Thread, Black Twine, and White Baker’s Twine.

I stamped the flowers and leaves (from the Bloom & Grow Bundle) on Whisper White Thick Cardstock, using my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad and cut them out with the coordinating dies from the same bundle. To color the flowers, I used the Pool Party Stampin Blends Combo Pack, and the Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack.  For the leaves, I used the Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack and the Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack.  The little berries were colored with the Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack.  After I was done with my coloring, I popped up the large bouquet with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, and tucked the other berries and leaves underneath.

The sentiment (also from the Bloom & Grow Bundle) was stamped with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad, and cut with with one of the Ornate Layers Dies.  I also added a subtle wash of Bermuda Bay, using my Aqua Painter.  For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Woven Thread Sequins and Iridescent Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
