03.23.2020…..Happy Monday, everyone! I just love the Tropical Oasis Suite from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog! From the stamp set, dies and embossing folder…to the Designer Series Paper and accessories, this suite is just gorgeous! That being said, I decided to create this card, using almost every element from this suite. For this card, I started with some Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder. After I layered a slightly larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath, I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.
I then used a piece of the Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper, layered some Whisper White Cardstock underneath, and added another piece of Tropical Oasis DSP underneath that. I used one of the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut out a Whisper White Cardstock circle, and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. Before I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked a bit of Braided Burlap Trim and Grapefruit Grove Nature’s Twine underneath.
The sentiment (from the Timeless Tropical Bundle) was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out with one of the Stitched Label Dies, I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used two of the dies (also from the Timeless Tropical Bundle) to cut out five leaves. I used some of the Tropical Oasis DSP for three of them, and a bit of Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock for the other two leaves. The flowers were die cut from Gold Glimmer Paper, using another die from the Timeless Tropical Bundle. For just a bit more bling, I sprinkled on a few gold Metallic Pearls.
