04.01.2020…..Welcome to Wednesday, everyone!  I’ve been having such a wonderful time creating projects with the new Ornate Garden Suite! This suite has sooooo many options for crafting and creating for all types of crafters…beginner, casual, and avid!  Besides the wonderful accessories in this suite, the stamp sets include lots of versatile phrases, and absolutely gorgeous floral images. The die sets include beautiful filigree shapes and super versatile frames. You’re going to love it!!!

The Ornate Garden Suite is an “early release” from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

Customers will be able to purchase products from the Ornate Garden Suite from April 1 – May 31, 2020.

For this card, I started with a piece of Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, and adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.  On top of that, I added a smaller piece of Whisper White Cardstock (embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder), and a narrow strip of Subtles DSP (notched at the bottom).

The bouquet (from the Ornate Style Stamp Set) was stamped with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad, on Whisper White Cardstock.  I then used the following Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Packs to color the flowers and leaves:  Daffodil Delight, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake.  I fussy cut around most of the bouquet, but I left a straight-cut edge on the left side.  Underneath that, I layered a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (embossed with the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder).  I also added a Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon bow, along with a bit of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon, and a few strands of Whisper White Baker’s Twine.  Before I popped it all up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I had to add one more layer underneath that….another piece of Whisper White Cardstock, which I die cut with one of the Ornate Frames Dies.

The sentiment (from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  After I cut it out, I popped it up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Iridescent Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
