04.02.2020…..Happy Thursday, my friends! Today I was in the mood to create a “clean & simple” card! And…I also had some “bit & pieces” of things that I had cut out, but never ended up using them originally. That being said, here is a “clean & simple” meets “bit & pieces” card! Hope you enjoy it!
For this card, I started with some Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. Underneath, I added some Smoky Slate Cardstock, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. On top of that, I added two strips of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, and in between I tucked a narrow border of Whisper White Cardstock, which I die cut with one of the borders from the Stitched Be Mine Dies.
I stamped the sentiment (from the Praiseworthy Prose Stamp Set) in Gray Granite, cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, trimmed off the left edge, and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of texture and bling, I added a Whisper White Baker’s Twine bow, and sprinkled on a few of the Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
