04.13.20…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I pulled out yet another stamp set that I hadn’t used in awhile…the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set! I just love the images and sentiments in this set! On this card I decided to use my Stampin’ Blends to color the images, but it is also a great set for watercoloring as well. Hope you enjoy it!
For this card, I started with a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock, embossed it with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder, and layered a slightly large piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath. After I added a vertical strip of Whisper White Cardstock (cut out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies), I added some Linen Thread, Whisper White Baker’s Twine, and Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. I then used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.
I stamped the little girls and birds (from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set) on Whisper White Thick Cardstock, using my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. To color the little girls, I used the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs: Pool Party, Seaside Spray, Mint Macaron, Balmy Blue, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Gray Granite, and the Light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker. After I was done with my coloring, I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment (also from the Beautiful Moments Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with one of the Stitched Labels Dies, I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Woven Threads Sequins and a couple of silver Metallic Pearls.
