Praiseworthy Prose by Tammy C. Wilson

04.21.20…..Happy Tuesday evening, everyone! I had so much fun creating my last card with Praiseworthy Prose Stamp Set!  So much so, that I decided to change it up a bit, and recreate it in another color combo! I also just love the elecletic blend of the “dictionary” sentiments and the trendy little accent stamps in this set! Sooooo much fun!!!  Hope this card inspires you to do a bit of crafting and creating today, and maybe change up a color combo or two!

For this card, I started with a piece of Melon Mambo, embossed it with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Melon Mambo Cardstock base.  I then used one of the accent stamps from the Praiseworthy Prose Stamp Set (along with my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder) to create a heat-embossed background on a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. To watercolor the background, I  misted it just a tiny bit with my Stampin’ Spritzer, and then used my Aqua Painter…..along with Melon Mambo and Highland Heather. As the colors started to run together, I also added a few little spritzes here and there. After I was satisfied with the results, I used my Heat Tool to partially dry the paper, then added some speckling with my Dark Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Marker.  (I created the speckling by “flicking the thick end of the marker against the marker cap.)

For an extra bit of texture, I added a bit of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (which I colored with my Light Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Marker) and Whisper White Baker’s Twine.  The sentiment (also from the Praiseworth Prose Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Melon Mambo Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  After I cut it out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, I popped it up with a few Mini Stampin Dimensionals.  For a little bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Glitter Enamel Dots and a couple of Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
