Varied Vases - Woven Threads by Tammy C. Wilson05.11.20…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Once again,, I decided to pull out another favorite stamp set of mine that I hadn’t used in awhile….Varied Vases!  It is such a cute set, and so versatile for so many different occasions and celebrations!  The possibilities are endless!  However, the Varied Vases Stamp Set is retiring on June 2, 2020…along with lot of other wonderful stamp sets and products!  So….if you don’t already have this stamp set, you’ll want to order it right away!

For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and added some speckling with my Stampin’ Blends Dark Crumb Cake Marker. ( To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the marker cap.) After I layered some Terracotta Tile Cardstock underneath,  added some Linen Thread, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. I also added a small strip of Woven Threads Designer Series Paper, and a slightly larger piece of Woven Thread DSP (cut out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies) on top of that.

Varied Vases - Woven Threads by Tammy C. Wilson (zoom)I then added a small piece of Whisper White Cardstock (cut out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, and a little piece of Vellum Cardstock (cut out one with the Perfect Parcels Dies).  The flowers (from the Varied Vases Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Crumb Cake Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out with one of the  Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I used my Aqua Painter (along with Pretty Peacock) to color the two little flowers. Before I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked a bit of Terracotta Scalloped Linen Ribbon and Woven Thread Trim under the left edge.

The vase and the sentiment (both from the Varied Vases Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I punched out the vase with the coordinating Vases Builder Punch, cut out the sentiment by hand, and popped them both up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Gold Faceted Gems, In Color Faceted Dots, and a gold Metallic Pearl.

Wishing you creativity always,
