Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I decided to create a card with the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle (Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set + Many Layered Blossoms Dies) from our demonstrator pre-order…for the new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! This new bundle (along with oodles of other amazing products from the new catalog), will be available for everyone to order…beginning on June 3, 2020! The 2020-2021 catalog is sooooo jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!
For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. After I layered a slight larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath, I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.
To create the flowers, I used a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, along with my Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, and Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Pads…and an Aqua Painter. I then misted the paper with my Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water), then sat back and watched the magic happen. As the colors started to run together, I also added a few more spritzes here and there. After I was satisfied with the results, I used my Heat Tool to dry the paper. Once the paper was dry, I cut out several flowers, using two of the little dies from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle. I also popped up each of the flowers, using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiments (from the Well Said Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut them out, I popped them up with a few more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on several of the new Flowers for Every Season Gems.
