bigger than the ocean…

Whale Done by Tammy C. Wilson (watermark)

06.26.20…..Welcome to the weekend, everyone! Today, I decided to create a shaker card with products from the new Whale of a Time Suite, from the brand new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!  This new catalog is sooooo jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!

For this card, I started with a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base, and added a small strip of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper on the left side.  To create the shaker part of the card, I used the following “sandwich”, starting from the bottom up…Whisper White Cardstock, Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper, Foam Adhesive Strips, Whale of a Time Sequins, Window Sheet, and another piece of Whisper White Cardstock on top. (For this top layer, I die cut a large circle (using one of the Layering Circles Dies), and embossed it with the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder.

The sentiment (from the Whale Done Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on a narrow strip of Whale of a Time DSP, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  (I also layered a strip of Whisper White Cardstock underneath this, so that it would be a bit more sturdy.) Before I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added a tiny stripe of In Good Taste DSP (torn along the bottom edge), and  some distressed Braided Linen Trim.  For just a little more bling, I sprinkled on a few of the Flowers for Every Season Gems.

Wishing you creativity always,
