07.03.20…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have have a super fun color challenge for you…Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, and Mango Melody! That’s right, my stampin’ friends, it’s time to get coloful, get creative…and get inspired along with us! I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges. We would love to see what you create!
For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. I used a variety of leaf stamps (from the Forever Fern Bundle), and stamped them with Granny Apple Green, Flirty Flamingo, and Mango Melody. After I cut them out with the coordinating dies from the Forever Fern Bundle, I popped up most of them with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. I then added a strip of Whisper White Cardstock (cut out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies) to the center of the card.
The sentiment (from the Forever Fern Bundle) was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also added a subtle wash of Flirty Flamingo (using one of my Water Painters), and cut it out with another one of the Ornate Layers Dies. Before I popped up the sentiment with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon underneath. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Elegant Faceted Gems and Woven Threads Sequins.
