09.03.2020…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! I am soooooo ready for Fall that I can hardly stand it! It’s still really hot here in Northern California, but I’m longing for those cool crisp mornings, gorgeous Autumn leaves, and anything “pumpkin”! And…to give myself an extra bit to create this card, I even lit a pumpkin spice candle! I hope this card (that I created with the Gather Together Bundle) inspires you today to create some wonderful Fall projects!
For this card, I started with a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, and adhered in to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. I also added a strip of 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ DSP, and also used one of the Ornate Borders Dies along the bottom edge.
I used a Sponge Dauber to gently add some Gray Granite to a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I then used my Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker to add some speckling. (To create the speckling, I ‘flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and aimed it towards the paper.) After I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, I layered a slightly larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base. I stamped the sentiment (from the Gather Together Bundle) in Soft Suede, cut it out, and popped in up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To create the pumpkins, I started with some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Before I stamped each of the pumpkins (from the Gather Together Bundle), I used a couple of Sponge Daubers to add some Gray Granite just around the top of each pumpkin, and then some Bumblebee on the rest of each pumpkin. After I stamped each pumpkin on the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, I used one of my Water Painters to add some Gray Granite, Bumblebee, and Cajun Craze. I then cut out the pumpkins with the coordinating dies (also from the Gather Together Bundle), and popped the up with several Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of texture, I added some Linen Thread, and Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon (cut in half vertically). To add a touch of bling, I also sprinkled on a few of the Wonderful Gems.
