11.22.20…..Happy Sunday, everyone! I can’t believe that November has almost come to a close! And…..it’s already time for another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! For this Sunday’s hop, we are featuring seasonal gift tags! We hope you have a chance to hop along with us today! You won’t want to miss any of the wonderful projects created by our amazing designers!
Today, I’m sharing two projects that I’ve created with products from the Heartwarming Hugs Suite. I created some cute little gift tags, and then decorated one of the Mini Coffee Cups to use at the gift tag holder. I’ve also included complete instructions underneath each project, so you can scroll right to the project that suits your fancy and start creating!
Let’s start with the gift tags…
For each tag, I started with a 2″ x 3-1/2″ strip of Real Red Cardstock. I embossed each strip with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder, and punch the top Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I then added a 1-1/4″ wide strip of Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, and layered a 1″ wide strip of Heartwarming Hugs DSP (notched at each end) on top. I also used one of the dies from the Warm Hugs Bundle to cut out a Whisper White hexagon, and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the little trees, I used my Water Painter, along with Mossy Meadow, to add a bit of color to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After the paper was dry, I cut out several of the little trees with one of the dies from the Warm Hugs Bundle. To add a bit of a “snow” effect, I added some speckling with my Water Painter and Whisper White Craft Ink. To create the speckling, I dipped my Water Painter in the ink, and “flicked” the brushed against the edge of the brush cap, “flicking” outward towards the little tree. (NOTE: As a time-saving alternative to watercoloring, you can simply cut out the little trees from Mossy Meadow Cardstock.)
The sentiment (from the Warm Hugs Bundle) was heat-embossed on Real Red Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped it up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For the bow at the top of the tag, I used Linen Thread and Mossy Meadow 3/8″ Diagonal Stripe Ribbon (cut in half vertically). For a bit of bling, I added several of the Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Next up is the little tag holder that I created with the Mini Coffee Cup…
To create the band around the middle of the cup, I used the coordinating dies from the Warm Hugs Bundle, along with some Heartwarming Hugs DSP. I then wrapped some Mossy Meadow 3/8″ Diagonal Stripe Ribbon around the middle. For the round label, I cut out a Mossy Meadow circle (using one of the dies from the Warm Hugs Bundle), and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere a Whisper White hexagon (cut out with another die from the Warm Hugs Bundle) on top of that. The circular sentiment (also from the Warm Hugs Bundle) was heat-embossed on Real Red Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with the coordinating die from the same bundle, and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Your tags are beautiful Tammy and I love how you used the coffee cup to store them, very clever and original. A lot of little details that will make the recipients want to keep their tags!!!
