stampin’ up! artisan design team blog hop –

12.17.2020…Happy Thursday, everyone! Hope everyone’s had a chance to squeeze in at least a bit of stamping and papercrafting this week!  If you’re already hopping along with us today, you probably just came from Stesha’s blog.  Aren’t her projects gorgeous!?!  If you’ve just started your hop, the Artisan Design Team is featuring projects created with the Posted for You Bundle, from the 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog! This bundle includes the Posted for You stamp set full of wonderful images and sentiments, along with the Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch! Gotta love a coordinating paper punch! The team has some absolutely amazing projects to inspire you today, and you will not want to miss a single one!

Today, I’m sharing a three projects that I created with the Posted for You Bundle. I’ve also included complete instructions underneath each project, so you can scroll right to the card that suits your fancy and start creating!

Let’s start with the narrow 3″ x 6″ card…

For the card base, I used a 6″ x 6″ piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and scored it the middle. To create the scalloped border on the bottom edge, I used one of the dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies, and then add a strip of Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

I used my Versamark Pad, along with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, to heat-emboss the flowers (from the Posted for You Bundle) on some In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I then layered a slightly larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath, added some Linen Thread and twine (from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack), and popped up the panel with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment (also from the Posted for You Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, cut out, and popped up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

Up next is the “Happy Birthday” card…

I started with some Whisper White Cardstock, embossed it with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. On top of that, I added some In Good Taste DSP and a narrow strip that I cut from one of the Square Vellum Doilies. I used my Versamark Pad, along with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, to heat-emboss the sentiment (from the Posted for You Bundle) on Whisper White Cardstock. For a soft wash of color, I used a Sponge Dauber to gentle add some Blushing Bride, and then added some speckling with my Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker. (To add the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the paper.)

I used my Versamark Pad, along with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, to heat-emboss the flowers (from the Posted for You Bundle) on some In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, and punched it out with Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch (from the Posted for You Bundle). I then punched out some Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP, and layered it underneath. Tucked underneath that is some Linen Thread and twine (from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack), and popped up the panel with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment (also from the Posted for You Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, cut out, and popped up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

Let’s move on to the little 3″ x 3″ note card…

For the card base, I used a 3″ x 6″ piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and scored it horizontally down the middle. To create the scalloped border on the bottom edge, I used one of the dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies, and then add a strip of Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

I used my Versamark Pad, along with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, to heat-emboss the little birds and leaves (from the Posted for You Bundle) on some In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, and punched it out with Rectangle Postage Stamp Punch (from the Posted for You Bundle). I then punched out some Whisper White Cardstock, and layered it underneath.

Last, but certainly not least, is the little treat box…

To create a band around the Clear Tiny Treat Box, I used a strip of Whisper White Cardstock, and created a scalloped border on both edges, using one of the dies from the Stitched Be Mine Dies. I then added a strip of Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP, and a tiny strip of In Good Taste DSP. To created the bow, I wrapped some Linen Thread and twine (from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack) around the box, and added a bit of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon in the middle of the bow.

The sentiment (also from the Posted for You Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, cut out, and popped up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

  1. Such gorgeous projects! The embossing on wood grain, paired with subtle DSP is really effective. I look forward to seeing all your marvellous creations in the hops in 2021. It’s been great working with you. 🙂
