in the pines…

12.20.20…..Happy Sunday, everyone! I know Christmas is just a few days away, but I thought I would try to squeeze in one more Christmas card! That being said, I love to combine multiple stamp sets in one project. So….for this card I used the In the Pines Bundle, along with little car (from the Coming Home Bundle). I just love that little red bug!

For this card, I layered some Whisper White Cardstock on a Poppy Parade Cardstock base. I then grabbed a second piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and used a Sponge Dauber to gently add some Coastal Cabana. On top of that, I stamped the trees (from the In the Pines Bundle) in Pear Pizzazz. I then added added some speckling with my Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker. To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the paper. To add some texture, I also embossed the cardstock with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. I layered a slightly larger piece of Smoky Slate Cardstock underneath, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to the card base.

I stamped the little car (from the Coming Home Bundle) on Whisper White Thick Cardstock, using my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. After I cut out the little car with one of the coordinating dies from the same bundle, I colored it with the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers and the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I also popped up the little car with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment (from the In the Pines Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped it up with a few more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. To give the appearance that the little car was pulling the banner, I created a bow with the twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a a few of the All the Trimmings Embellishments.

Wishing you creativity always,

The 2020-2021 catalog is sooooo jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!
