01.15.21…..Happy Friday , everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have a super fun Product Spotlight Challenge for you…..Background Stamps! It’s time to take a little time for yourself and to get your creative juices flowing! Hopefully, we will bring you just that little bit of extra inspiration that you need. I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges. We would love to see what you create!
For this card, I started with some Balmy Blue Cardstock, embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Balmy Blue Cardstock base. I then used Balmy Blue and Soft Suede, along a couple of Sponge Daubers to randomly add color to the large blossoms stamp from the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set, and also added Mint Macaron to one of the leaf stamps from the same stamp set. Before I stamped each image on a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, I spritzed the images just a bit with my Stampin’ Spritzer. After the stamped images were dry, I embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. I also added a bit of speckling with my Light Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Marker.
Next, I added the following three ribbons, all cut in half vertically…..Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon from the Just Jade Gingham Ribbon and Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. Directly underneath, I layered some Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper, then popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set) was heat-embossed. using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I cut it out with one of the Stitched Shape Dies, layered a scalloped circle (cut out with one of the Layering Circles Dies) underneath, and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I added a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots and a couple of the Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins.
