02.20.2021…..Happy Saturday, everyone! I’m so excited to share my February monthly showcase project for the Stampin’ Up! 2021 Artisan Design Team! For this month’s projects, I was asked to use the gorgeous Hydrangea Haven Bundle, from the January – June Mini Catalog!
There have also been a few changes to the way the Artisan Design Team is sharing projects this year. The team has been divided into three groups, and each group is assigned a different collection of products to create with. This means an even greater variety of projects and inspiration. And…Instead of the monthly blog hops, the team will have a greater presence on the Stampin’ Up! Corporate Facebook Page and their Instagram account as well.

For each of my cards, I embossed the hydrangeas (from the Hydrangea Haven Bundle) on Crumb Cake Cardstock, using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut them out with the coordinating dies from the same bundle, I used my Water Painter, along with to quickly color in the hydrangeas with Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, and Pear Pizzazz.
For the card base, I used Basic White Thick Cardstock, and added a touch of 2020-2022 6″ x 6″ DSP, as well as In Good Taste DSP, to add a bit of a rustic look. To create some background texture on two of the card, I also used the Painted Textures 3D Embossing Folder and the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiments (also from the Hydrangea Haven Bundle) were heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For the Basic White scalloped edges on the cards, I used one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
For a bit of texture, I added Linen Thread and Terracotta Tile ribbon (from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack). For a touch of bling, I sprinkled on several of the Woven Threads Sequins.
