so very happy for you…

05.05.2021…..Happy Wednesday, everyone! Yesterday…the brand new 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog went “live”!  That’s right, my stampin’ friends…you can now can begin placing your orders from the absolutely amazing new catalog!  I am having sooooo much fun with the new stamp sets and products from the 2021-2022 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog! For this card, I used the new Color & Contour Bundle, along with some of the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper…and of course, one of the little Bumblebee Trinkets! Are they just the cutest???

The 2021-2022 catalog is jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!

For this card, I started with some of the new Hand-Penned DSP, layered some Basic White Cardstock underneath, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I embossed some Crumb Cake Cardstock with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, and layered a Basic White scalloped rectangle (cut out with one of the dies from the Color & Contour Bundle) underneath. Before I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked part of a Square Vellum Doily underneath.

I heat-embossed the flower stem (from the Color & Contour Bundle) on Crumb Cake Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I used a Water Painter, along with Bermuda Bay and Old Olive, to quickly add a wash of color to the flowers and leaves. After I cut it out with the coordinating die from the same bundle, I popped it up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment (also from the Color & Contour Bundle) was stamped in Bermuda Bay, and cut out by hand.

To create the bow, I used Linen Thread and Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace (cut in half vertically). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Pearl Basic Jewels, an Opal Round, and a gold Metallic Pearl…..and of course, one of those cute, little Bumblebee Trinkets.

Wishing you creativity always,
