#tgifc323 – heartfelt…

07.02.2021…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! It’s color challenge week…It’s always a fun week for us! We LOVE color challenges, and based off of all the great cards y’all usually share with us on Color Challenge weeks – you love them too!

We’re so excited to have you join us for this week’s Color Challenge….Granny Apple Green, Polished Pink, and Fresh Freesia! Hope it inspires you to create to your heart’s content, whether it’s cards or other paper projects!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.

I used a Sponge Dauber to lightly add some Fresh Freesia on a another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, and stamped one of the branches (from the Lovely You Stamp Set) in Fresh Freesia, on top of that. After I embossed the cardstock with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, I also added some speckling, using my Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Write Marker. To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the cardstock. I then added some 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper underneath, and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Basic White Thick Cardstock tag was created with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies, and popped up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. The Polished Pink Cardstock “roses” were created with one of the outline flower dies (the one with three flowers in one die), from the Peach Dies. I cut out three sets of the three flowers, distress them, and layered them together with a few Mini Glue Dots.

To create the leaves, I used a Sponge Dauber to add some Granny Apple Green to a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. I also added some speckling, using my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker. To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the cardstock. To cut out the leaves, Iused two of the leaves dies from the Penned Flowers Dies.

The sentiment (from the Lovely You Stamp Set) was stamped in Polished Pink, cut out and popped with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. To add some fun texture, I created a bow with Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon (cut in half vertically), and Whisper White Seam Binding Ribbon. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Loose Flower Flourishes and 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
