12.09.2021…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! Today, it’s a cold, snowy day where I live, so I decided to create yet another card using those cute, festive Wonderful Snowflakes! And…this time I layered two of them together, and also added two more snowflakes that I cut out with the Stitched Snowflake Dies! Hope this card inspires you to create some festive snowflake projects, as well!
For this card, I started with some Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper, and adhered it to a Basic Gray Cardstock base. Next, I used some Basic White Thick Cardstock, and added some soft swirls of Blushing Bride with a Blending Brush. I then embossed in with one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders (…with the snowflakes), and added some speckling, using my Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the cardstock.)

To create the layered snowflake, I started with two of the Wonderful Snowflakes. For the next snowflake, I added a bit of Blushing Bride to a small piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock (using a Blending Brush), and cut it out with one of the Stitched Snowflake Dies. The smallest snowflake was cut out from Silver Foil Speciality Paper, using another one of the Stitched Snowflake Dies.
The sentiment (also from the Bright Baubles Stamp Set) was heat-embossed, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath, is Blushing Bride Frayed Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). To adhere the ribbon, I used a small strip of Tear & Tape Adhesive. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on lots of Subtle Shimmer Sequins.
Wishing you creativity always,
